In the early dawn, our representative would take you to the Cairo airport for a short flight to Aswan, a beautiful city of stunning sights and history. Upon arriving, you will start on a journey to explore the city along with your tour guide, including visits to some of its main attractions. Visit the Philae Temple, an excellently preserved temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, which has been relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from being submerged in water. Get fascinated by the well-carved sculptures and learn their historical context.

Then, you will be escorted to your hotel for check-in and to relax a bit. The tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby, and the Egypt tour will begin on a traditional wooden felucca sailing slowly along the Nile River. Take it all in—the really calm waters of the river, lush green land, and stunning sunsets enhancing an incredible moment of relaxing coziness with nature—then to experience Nubian culture after dinner with a Nubian family. You will transfer to the hotel at the end of your trip.

Meals: Breakfast & Nubian Dinner

Spend a whole day discovering Aswan, whether wandering around the city, visiting the local bazaars, or taking one option out of many excursions. Your first stop will be Abu Simbel Temples (Optional Tour). Pharaoh Ramses II built these massive temples into the mountainside, which are famous for their gigantic statues and amazing sun alignment. The temples are evidence of ancient Egypt's architectural genius. Visit the site, one of the most fantastic of the country, which lies next to the shores of Lake Nasser either by a scenic drive (3.5 hours each way) or from Aswan in a quick flight.

Take a peaceful walk along Aswan Corniche to enjoy the beautiful views of the Nile River and colorful surroundings. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the river while observing the traditional feluccas during your luxury Egypt holiday. Your tour guide will be happy to help with more information on what local places serve food and other activities.

(Breakfast is only included.)

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver and tour guide for the 4 to 5-hour drive to Luxor, one of Egypt's most well-known historical sites. Once there, you go to the hotel for a little rest before heading to Karnak Temple. Wander inside this large temple complex, which is a testament to ancient Egypt's glory. Explore the colossal Hypostyle Hall, a sacred lake, and wonderful carving pictures depicting the story of pharaohs and gods.

Having finished your luxury tour in Egypt, you will be taken back to your hotel for overnight.

Optional Activity: Luxor Temple at sundown

(Breakfast and lunch are included.)

Our tour guide will take you on a journey through Luxor's outstanding archaeological treasures just after breakfast. Explore Egypt's royal and religious history while visiting the Valley of the Kings, which embraces the ancient tombs belonging to pharaohs, including King Tutankhamun, taking in the stunningly preserved wall carvings and hieroglyphics. Visit the towering mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, beautifully set against the dramatic cliffs of Deir el-Bahri. Also, you can visit the Colossi of Memnon, these gigantic twin statues, which have stood for more than 3,000 years as watchers of the Theban necropolis.

After your Egypt tour, you will be taken back to your hotel to rest.

To ensure a smooth and comfortable journey throughout Egypt, we suggest you pack the following items:

  • Valid Passport (at least 6 months): Double-check that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned arrival date in Egypt, as this is often a requirement for entry.
  • Sun Protection: Given Egypt’s sunny climate, we recommend packing high-SPF sunscreen and lip balm with sun protection to shield your skin from the intense sun.
  • UV-Blocking Sunglasses: Protect your eyes from UV rays and reduce glare while sightseeing, especially when exploring outdoor sites like the Pyramids.
  • Hand Sanitizer: Hygiene is important, particularly when handwashing isn’t always accessible, so be sure to bring a small bottle of hand sanitizer.
  • Reusable Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is key, particularly in the heat. A refillable water bottle will help you stay refreshed while reducing plastic waste.
  • Insect Repellent: Particularly useful when visiting sites surrounded by nature, insect repellent will keep pesky bugs at bay and protect you from bites.
  • Appropriate Clothing for the Season:
    • Winter: If traveling during the cooler months, pack a warm jacket, sweater, and thermal layers.
    • Summer: Lightweight, breathable cotton clothes are ideal for staying cool in the hot weather.
  • Wide-Brimmed Hat: A hat provides shade and helps protect your face and neck from direct sun exposure.
  • Travel Adapter: Different countries have varying plug types, so bring a universal travel adapter to keep your electronics charged.
  • Camera or Smartphone: Capture stunning memories from your trip with a camera or your phone. Egypt’s ancient sites are perfect for photos!
  • Compact Umbrella: Though Egypt is mostly dry, a small umbrella can be handy during the rare rain showers, especially if you're traveling during the transitional months.
  • Comfortable Shoes: You’ll likely be doing a lot of walking during your sightseeing, so pack sturdy and comfortable shoes suitable for exploring archaeological sites and urban areas.
  • Medications: If you take prescription medication, ensure you have an adequate supply for the duration of your trip. Also, carry any over-the-counter medications you may need for common issues like headaches or stomach discomfort.
