The Sacred Lotus Dahabiya draws inspiration from an authentic 18th and 19th-century design and is crafted in a charming colonial style. At its core is the half-shaded sundeck, a tranquil space where you can unwind in a wooden deck chair and watch the scenic views unfold. Below deck, you'll find a cozy living area, a salon, four cabins, and one suite. The inviting salon features a small library filled with books about the Nile and Egypt. With its plush sofas, it’s the ideal spot to relax at the end of the day—swap stories, share experiences, dive into a book, or enjoy a game of backgammon, all while sipping Turkish coffee or savoring a glass of Alexandrian wine.

4 Days / 3 Nights: Aswan to Luxor
Upon your arrival in Aswan, whether at the airport or train station, your tour manager will be there to greet you and assist you. Then, your Egyptologist guide will accompany you on an exciting tour of Aswan.
Visit the iconic Philae Temple, the mighty High Dam, and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the bustling Aswan Bazaar. Afterward, you'll board your Dahabiya Nile Boat, where you can savor a delicious lunch while cruising down the Nile. As you continue your journey, head toward Kom Ombo, where you’ll spend the night.
Meals: Lunch – Dinner
Start the day with a relaxed breakfast. Then, we’ll explore the Greco-Roman Temple of Kom Ombo. This temple features two entrances, two halls, and two sanctuaries: one dedicated to Horus the Elder and the other to Sobek, the Crocodile god.
Next, we’ll visit the serene and less-visited site of Gebel el Silsila. Prepare to be amazed when we reach the Speos of Hormheb. If possible, dinner will be served either on the illuminated temple grounds or on the top deck of the boat, where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, accompanied by music selected to enhance the setting.
Meals: Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner
After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Edfu Temple, one of Egypt's most well-preserved and significant monuments. Admire the grand granite statues of Horus the Falcon at the temple entrance.
Following your visit, you’ll have free time to explore the nearby market, where you can haggle for souvenirs, enjoy local flavors, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
Later, we’ll set sail to a nearby island. Once there, disembark for dinner on the Sun Deck or by the Nile, depending on the weather. Enjoy a themed evening inspired by ancient Egypt, complete with traditional Egyptian cuisine and Middle Eastern music.
Guests are encouraged to wear a custom-made gallabeyah or a belly dance costume. Afterward, we’ll continue our relaxing sail to Esna, where we’ll spend the night.
Meals: Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner
After breakfast, disembark from your Nile boat in Esna. You’ll be transferred to Luxor, where you’ll visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, and the Temple of Karnak. Enjoy lunch in Luxor before heading to either the airport or the train station for your departure.

Tour Guide: $10 - $20 per day
Driver: $5 - $10 per day
Nile Cruise Crew: $20 - $30 per person for the duration of the cruise (for the entire crew)
These amounts are just recommendations and can be adjusted based on your satisfaction with the service provided. Tipping is an important cultural gesture in Egypt, and even a small amount can go a long way in showing gratitude for excellent service.
To ensure a smooth and comfortable journey throughout Egypt, we suggest you pack the following items:
Valid Passport (at least 6 months): Double-check that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned arrival date in Egypt, as this is often a requirement for entry.
Sun Protection: Given Egypt’s sunny climate, we recommend packing high-SPF sunscreen and lip balm with sun protection to shield your skin from the intense sun.
UV-Blocking Sunglasses: Protect your eyes from UV rays and reduce glare while sightseeing, especially when exploring outdoor sites like the Pyramids.
Hand Sanitizer: Hygiene is important, particularly when handwashing isn’t always accessible, so be sure to bring a small bottle of hand sanitizer.
Reusable Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is key, particularly in the heat. A refillable water bottle will help you stay refreshed while reducing plastic waste.
Insect Repellent: Particularly useful when visiting sites surrounded by nature, insect repellent will keep pesky bugs at bay and protect you from bites.
Appropriate Clothing for the Season:
Winter: If traveling during the cooler months, pack a warm jacket, sweater, and thermal layers.
Summer: Lightweight, breathable cotton clothes are ideal for staying cool in the hot weather.
Wide-Brimmed Hat: A hat provides shade and helps protect your face and neck from direct sun exposure.
Travel Adapter: Different countries have varying plug types, so bring a universal travel adapter to keep your electronics charged.
Camera or Smartphone: Capture stunning memories from your trip with a camera or your phone. Egypt’s ancient sites are perfect for photos!
Compact Umbrella: Though Egypt is mostly dry, a small umbrella can be handy during the rare rain showers, especially if you're traveling during the transitional months.
Comfortable Shoes: You’ll likely be doing a lot of walking during your sightseeing, so pack sturdy and comfortable shoes suitable for exploring archaeological sites and urban areas.
Medications: If you take prescription medication, ensure you have an adequate supply for the duration of your trip. Also, carry any over-the-counter medications you may need for common issues like headaches or stomach discomfort.
